The powder is so light beneath my board I’m cutting through clouds. The terrain guides me faster, deeper, each S turn sprays snow diamonds into the trees at the edge of the trail. Only a 1500 vertical drop with steeps up to 60% can force me to let go. Something ignites within, this feeling of freedom that I haven’t felt since I had kids.
