#swimming in a #pool has been the greatest challenge during this #pandemic . How have you worked around the issue of staying #sixfeetapart in #pools? At the @hyattlaketahoe in @tahoenorth you can swim from 8am-10pm year round. The pool is so large we didn’t have a problem with enjoying the whole place to ourselves! My kids loved the indoor entrance (first photo) and the water wasn’t too hot or too cold. It was hot enough for us to #swim outside and see the steam rising.

This morning there was an an #eagle hunting for food along the shore of Lake Tahoe. Check out this video clip where she tries to catch a geese or duck! I only caught the tail-end of the whole struggle. The eagle had that bird pinned down for a good five minutes in the water, then he just lifts the bird out of the water and drops him off on the pier.

The kids finally got to enjoy a #pool @cedarglenlodge in @tahoenorth ! According to the @cdcgov there is no evidence that #covid_19 can spread through water. #cedarglenlodge followed all of #cdc cleaning and disinfecting guidelines and took the steps to make sure that their water systems are safe to use after prolonged shutdown. The pool is heated. @cedarglenlodge #22 in their lodge has two bedrooms, each with a super comfortable Eastern King bed. I talked to the owner Martha Bryan yesterday who said #cedarglenlodge saved her life. She bought this place in 2010 right after her divorce and raised two girls on her own and now pours her empty-nester love and energy into her guests. She has gone out of her way to make her property #covidsafe ecofriendly and #dogfriendly. She closed 10 of her 30 rooms, implemented health screenings for her employees, uses EPA approved disinfectants such as #uvclight wands and #hypochlorousacid and makes sure rooms are vacant 24-72 hrs prior to arrival and departure. #covid_19 @tahoenorth #tahoenorth #laketahoe #california #cabin #lakefront #lakefrontproperty #lakefrontliving
